PU Sealant Application Tips

  • Before starting the application, ensure the surface is dust-free, dry, and clean. A surface primer can be used if necessary.
  • Applying masking tape to the area where the sealant will be applied provides a cleaner look and prevents leakage.
  • Using the correct joint filler according to the width and depth of the joint helps to achieve a professional result.
  • After application, the sealant should be evenly squeezed into the joint using a sealant gun and smoothed with a spatula within approximately 5-10 minutes.
  • Care should be taken to prevent water contact with the surface during the curing period. Full drying time may vary depending on the product type and environmental conditions.
